El Sábado 22 de Julio nos reunimos un grupo de amigos en el Café Tico & Pub en Ciudad Colón, este lugar es súper chiva es pequeño pero acogedor ubicado en una esquina, la decoración y el ambiente lo relajan a uno para disfrutar de un buen tiempo; mientras hablamos fui conociendo un poco de los que estaban con nosotros, a las bloggers Fernada de Fernanda´s Choice, Natalia de Mala Mujer y Yo emprendo y a Dessiré de Retro & Sugar, cada una de ellas me parecieron  muy interesantes, autenticas y muy buena gente con nosotros, mientras el partido de la sele iniciaba degustamos de un sampler de cervezas artesanales, una de café, de limón y mi favorita la de cas, las otras dos no recuerdo de que eran.

Hello my beauties!!

Today I want to talk to you about something we kind of overlook, and when it comes to skin let’s be honest.. we procrastinate.. A LOT. And it comes to a point where things start to happen, and that’s where we start to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars a year trying to fix what we didn’t take care of when we could.

So I bring you here some useful stuff and hopefully I can share some life changing info you can use in your time of need.

Her name is Micah Gianneli, in case you don’t know her , here you have her bio.

With a background in fashion design, Micah Gianneli began as a freelance fashion stylist before creating her personal style blog in 2011. That year led to alliances with some big names including Topshop where she was head stylist and worked with the flagship team at Oxford Circus, London, and also the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival where she was appointed ambassador for 2012, featuring in their campaign.

Fashion and lifestyle blogger, model, stylist, creative director, designer and design consultant, photographer, post-production specialist, website and graphic designer.

Not to mention that this look is incredibly stylish, classy, feminine and edgy.

The Only Makeup Look You Need

  

Hello my beautiful pink unicorns! Hahaha random.. I know! ❤️
Today I’m back with a super simple and timeless look, it actually made me think in the 90’s… 90’s meet 2015.
I was inspired by my favorite Liquid Lipstick by ColourPop: Trap. It’s a Greyish Nude with a Mauve Undertone.. Or at least that’s how I describe it.

  

Face:
For my foundation I mixed MUFE Ultra HD Foundation 125=Y315 and Too Faced Born This Way in  Honey.

I love this combo for a flawless natural look… 

For my concealer I used my Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Coverage in Medium Light Neutral and My NARS Custard for Highlight.

To set my under eye I used Lyric on the KAT VON D Shade&Light Contour Palette. 

To bronze I used Park Avenue Princess by Tarte and to contour I used the medium shade on the KAT VON D Palette. 

I am currently skipping Blush… Haha I am not feeling the cheek color… Which could never happen with Highlighter.. I am using Whisp by ColourPop and on top of that I used my all time Favorite Champagne Pop. 

  

Eyes:

For my eyes I wanted to go for a Matte, simple look with winged eyeliner. For that I used a really affordable, high quality palette by LA Girl Nudes. I used as a base a skin tone shadow and added a couple of transition shades in the pink- mauve undertone section, which I really loved and used a light natural pink on the lid for definition.

For the liner I used KAT VON D Ink Liner in Trooper. 

Skipped inner corner and brow highlight by the way.

I popped some Iconic Lashes by House of Lashes, which I’ve been obsessing over for the past month.. I’ve gone through 4 pairs… Non stop… And if you wear Iconics you know how much you can put them on.. So yeah.. A lot! 

Finally I set my makeup with MAC Fix+ and put on my Trap with a little bit of Tulle in the inner part of my lips for a pouty, ombré effect… ❤️❤️❤️

I think this is a good every day look anyone can rock and look really well put together, without over doing it…

Primer Día.

El clima estaba perfecto. No había mucho sol ni calor. Estaba con amigos y simplemente era el día perfecto. Me hubiera gustado que hubieras podido estar ahí.

🙃🙃🙃 I am extremely happy today, just to give you a bit of an insight, after work I recorded a YouTube video for my Page Reporte Fashion… It was a really glam and intense look. I had sooooo much fun with Mei (ReporteFashion Blogger) and specially recording the intro showing up the look!! Haha I was like.. Jaclyn Hill makes it look so easy.. How To Have THE Fall Glow

Hello to all my Beautiful Girls! ❤️

I hope you all had a good weekend and your week is going the it’s supposed to be going 🙂

I was inspired today to rock a natural glowy look. Received my stock of House of Lashes and popped on a pair of Iconics.

I wanted to have a very natural and Neutral Look so I want to share with you how I created this natural glow.

It’s pretty much Champagne Pop from Becca Cosmetics and Fix Plus from MAC haha.

Remember that makeup is just a part of beauty, the one that you need to work the most is self-confidence and your identity, be silly, smile and do what you love ❤️

Mid-October Favorites

Hello lovelies!

 

I hope you’re all having a bomb week. I know I have been, well at least it’s been a lot of work and that really keeps me busy and focused.

I wanted to share with you my favorite items so far this month.

 

Foundation:

I’ve been loving my L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte, I am shade 106. I absolutely adore the demi matte finish it has on my skin, not to mention this foundation lasts forever and due to the buildability of it, it allows me to rock a really natural look where my foundation is practically invisible; actually, when I first got it I applied it on my face and asked my friend if the shade was right and she was like… YOU ARE NOT WEARING FOUNDATION!!… Nothing else to say 😀

Concealer:

I am a big time concealer person… Like… I cannot live without a concealer, I have a concealer for every possible issue my skin might be facing, different shades, different formulas, different brands… Well.. You got the point.

I’ve been trying out new concealers and one of my new favs is the Maybelline Instant Rewind. The packaging is super cute and convenient, the little applicator on top really allows you to use just the right amount, and flawlessly apply the product on the skin without wasting any of it.

On a more High-end side, I have the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard. I can tell you this is the most lightweight, easy to blend and high coverage concealer I’ve ever tried, this is some heavy duty concealer, if you are on the hunt for a new good concealer and have some money to spare I would tell you to go for it, you’ll not regret it.

 

Fix+

Well… This product speaks by itself, this is a makeup must have. It makes my eyeshadow pop, it makes my highlighter l00k almost foiled on the high points of my cheek, and overall makes my makeup to look natural and last all day.. EVEN AT WORK.

Make sure you go for it and you’ll not have second thoughts in buying it again once you run out.

 

Eyeliner:

Dear Kat Von D, ever since I tried for the first time my Trooper Tatoo Liner I felt in love, I cannot describe how easy is to apply my liner now, it literally takes me a minute to do my liner… Before that it was a hassle for me to get the perfect cat-eye, but you made it heaven.

This is a very long lasting liner and you NEED this like yesterday. 🙂

Overall, I’ve been into very basics and I am loving it.

El Viaje En El Que Faltaste

Philly Cheese Steak: Caribbean Style

En la noche cociné para ella y para mí. Hice la receta con un pequeño ajuste, un ajuste con sabor caribeño. Me hubiera gustado que probaras. Estaba riquísimo.

Tercer Día: Más Playa.

Nos despertamos y nos fuimos para la playa. Nos metimos al mar, escuchamos las olaAunque no estuviste ahí te mandé un pedacito de paz.

Caribbean or Caribeans?

En la tarde de ese mismo día nos invitaron a ir a ver el atardecer en una finca en la montaña. Desde ahí se podía ver la más increíble vista de Puerto Viejo. Si hubieras podido ver eso… Wow… La vista me quitó el aliento… Fue hermoso.

Pollo Cacciatore

Una vez terminada la velada, decidimos irnos. Cociné una receta de Pollo Caccitore. Te hubiera gustado montones también.

Último Día

  
Hoy es el último día en la playa. Quisiera quedarme para siempre, pero no se puede. Hoy estuvo con ganas de llover todo el día, pero aun así decidí ir a la playa a escuchar las olas y pensar. Puedo decir que estoy feliz otra vez, pero me hubiera gustado que estuvieras ahí.
Mientras hacía el álbum me di cuenta que prácticamente quería que siempre estuvieras ahí. La próxima vez vienes conmigo. Así no tengo que tomar fotos y podemos simplemente disfrutar de la vista.

Fall Smokey Eye

 Hello my beauties! It’s been a long time since I blog on Fernanda’s Choice due to the fact that I’ve been working on a big project. 

I wanted to share with you. Look I created a couple of days ago with my Morphe 35N palette.

Pretty much I used a warm brown on the crease with a red-ish transition shade. Smoked out the black on the lid and brought it up to the crease without taking it too high.. I’m not into the racoon eye look. 😛

Smoked out my eye liner and also used some of the same shades I used on my crease on the lower lashline. 

  
Some info on my makeup:

Used my ABH for the brows, on my Face I’m wearing Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation, the Shade+Light Contour Palette by KVD, Nars radiant creamy concealer in Custard, Risqué Koko Lashes, Champagne Pop Highlighter and on my lips I’m wearing a combo of Tulle by ColourPop and Pure Hollywood by ABH.
